physically attractive, according to a survey by Wakefield Research for Citigroup.\n<\/h4>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-239d66a0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"239d66a0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-text-editor elementor-clearfix\">\n\t\t\t\t<p><em>Financial coaching is critically important to couples, with the vast majority (88 percent) of adults 25 to 34 who are married or living with a partner saying that financial decisions are a source of tension in their relationship.<\/em><\/p><p><em>Personality can play a big role in discussions and habits about money. Even if both partners are debt-free, the age old conflict between spenders and savers can play out in multiple ways.\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p><em>Few academic studies have estimated that as many as 41% of Americans admit to hiding accounts, debts or spending habits from their spouse or partner.\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><em>Overall, these studies have found that adults who experience negative financial interactions with the relationship also report lower relationship satisfaction (Conger et al., 1990; Johnson, Lee, Lee, &amp; Schramm, 2006; Steuber &amp; Paik, 2014). There is also evidence that emotional distress regarding the financial situation or financial management within such relationships directly erodes relationship satisfaction (Conger et al., 1990; Dew, 2008).<\/em><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><em>Based on the findings from this study, we conclude that the foundation linking finances and relationship well-being are forged early in the relationship. When seen from this perspective, encouraging open dialogue about finances before there are disagreements may be an effective relationship maintenance strategy.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Financial Readiness for a committed relationship Help with achieving financial compatibility and independence in line with personal values.
